Whole

"Wholeness is important to me. One of the things that have been denied people who were oppressed is wholeness. Even when people just want us to talk about gender or race, we are still being denied parts of ourselves. I'm still struggling to bring all the parts of myself together...Part of our liberation struggle is the struggle to be whole. I'm more than my pain, my race, my sexual whatever - how do I articulate that? It's very difficult".
